Kyle Seguin danced with the Alabama Ballet in Birmingham, Alabama, where he performed many principal roles including, Count Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, Prince Desire in The Sleeping Beauty, Franz in Coppelia, El Capitan in George Balanchine's Stars and Stripes, and the title roles in Dracula and Romeo and Juliet. Kyle also danced with Southern DanceWorks, where he performed works by Robert Battle and Teri Weksler. Kyle is a Stott-trained Pilates instructor, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and is currently full-time faculty at The Joffrey Academy. Kyle was previously on faculty at The Chicago High School for the Arts and Columbia College Chicago, where he taught Ballet, Pointe, Pilates, Anatomy, Pas de Deux, and Men’s Technique.
Maan (Nabong) Almodovar received her dance training from Sherry Moray, Homer Bryant, Avnun Yukabov, Alonzo King, Wes Chapman, and Roger Van Fleteran. In 2000 and 2001, Maan placed 1st in the Junior Classical division at Youth America Grand Prix. From 2002-2004, she danced with the Alabama Ballet where she performed Arabian in George Balanchine's Nutcracker and various roles in Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, and Swan Lake. Maan was a scholarship student at Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago and at Alonzo Kings Ballet in San Francisco. In 2006-2007, Maan performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, working with choreographer, Daniel Pelzig in Die Fledermaus. Maan is a Stott-trained Pilates instructor, holds a BA in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University, is a licensed Zumba instructor, and is on faculty at the Joffrey Academy, The Chicago High School for the Arts, Chicago Multicultural Dance Center, and Illinois Dance Conservatory.
Richard Peña, originally from Dorado, Puerto Rico, began his dance training at Les Dances in Guaynabo. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, is a STOTT trained Pilates instructor, and is a certified Zumba instructor. Richard danced with Thodos Dance Chicago and currently dances with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater and C5. He was on faculty at Pure Vibe Dance Center and has guested with Tuscaloosa Community Dancers and at Dancecenter North.
Henrietta has over 10 years experience overseeing ballet and fitness classes. She is a naturally affectionate and intelligent Italian Greyhound, with a mischievous side. As a gazehound, Henrietta instinctively hunts by sight and occasionally barks at passers-by. She almost undoubtedly barks at other dogs. Henrietta is fast, agile and athletic. Boasting a high-stepping gait and a double suspension gallop, she can run 25 miles per hour.
